Note Name Challenge

INSTRUCTIONS

The Challenges below are designed to help you learn to quickly identify notes on a staff. They are built using MusicTheory.Net, a fantastic website to help you learn how to read music . The exercises correspond to the instrument you play and your level of experience. Each Challenge has 20 random questions (that will change each time you take the Challenge), and there is a time limit of 5 minutes to complete the Challenge. Only one chance is given per question. Remember your acronyms and that note names are alphabetical!

To begin, click your instrument under the Level you wish to try. When you click the button that says "Start Challenge," the 5 minute timer will begin.

When you are finished, you can reset the score to try again by clicking the three dots in the upper right of your screen and selecting "Reset Scores." Your teacher may also give you instructions on how to submit or record your score for a grade.
