OUR PROGRAM
The Wauconda Middle School Band Program serves students in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades at Wauconda Middle School. Bands are divided by grade level and each curricular ensemble meets daily. Band students also receive small group lessons in a rotating pull-out schedule. Extracurricular offerings include Jazz Band, which meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings during 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter, and the D118 Solo and Ensemble Festival, which takes place each February.
